Good for a big group

Best season Autumn nights only. Their calendar moves. A date on a blog is not a ticket. Read headlesshorseman.com.

Drive About 1 hr 45 min–2 hr 15 min

General guidance from Midtown to Ulster Park. It is an evening plan. Leave time to be early for your ticket.

Parking. On-site lots. Follow their staff. Do not park on Route 9W.

A seasonal haunted attraction on Route 9W. The town is Ulster Park, not West Park. Hayrides, houses, and a corn maze, run as a local business. Not a theme-park Halloween add-on.

Worth knowing

  • Scream Pass

Their ticket pages sell a Scream Pass that lets you skip the regular attraction lines. The add-on price is not the same on every page of the site. Read the night you want before you pay.

  • Children’s Days

Children’s Days were October 3 and October 17, 2026. Those dates are past. A night ticket is a different event from the toned-down afternoon.

  • Which night

Their tickets page says Friday and Saturday evenings in October are extremely busy. The nights still printed for the higher October price, as of October 20, are October 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31.

With a group. Their site says they can host groups and parties and gives a phone number. Call. Do not assume a walk-up group fits on a sold Saturday.

The short version

The gate address they publish is 778 Broadway, Route 9W, Ulster Park, NY 12487. The season is nights in the fall, plus separate daytime Children's Days that they describe as toned down. The night show is a scare. The afternoon is the family hour.

Food nearby

Main Street Bistro, New Paltz

Their site mentions a tavern after the attractions. Do not count on that as dinner. Main Street Bistro, 59 Main Street in New Paltz, prints dinner Friday–Sunday 4:30–8:00 pm and breakfast most mornings except Tuesday.

Farms and stands nearby

  • Locust Grove Fruit Farm

A fruit farm in Milton, the next town north on Route 9W. Their page lists a U-pick and a farm stand at 199 North Road. It does not itemize the stand.

Season. Their page says Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It does not print the months.

The brewing company at 162 North Road is a different door. The farm phone on their page is 845-232-6853.

  • Heart of the Hudson Valley Farmers Market

Their site says local, farm-fresh food for a meal, in Milton.

Season. Their site says every Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine, June through mid-October, plus a Thanksgiving market on November 18, at 1801-1805 Route 9W, Cluett Schantz Park.

Ulster Park is the attraction. Milton is the market. Locust Grove's page lists the same Saturday market as June through October and does not mention November 18. Read the market site.
